A test plan usually comprises a selection of methods, some of which are to be performed in parallel and / or in a specified time sequence. The test plan structure is defined by the OEM. Within a test plan, there are some differentiations with regard to the type of execution. Types of execution can be, for example: Interior vs. exterior, component-specific requirements, material-specific requirements.
Execution types define which methods of the inspection plan are to be applied to the specific material / component. They also define any deviating test conditions. In addition, they define the limit values required for the corresponding component / material.
